Black Sea in August. View of the Markhot mountain range from the bay of Gelendzhik. A powerful mesocyclone completely disrupted our beach holiday plans. During the calm between heavy rains and a hurricane wind, a short weather equilibrium was established in the bay. The warm sea takes on beautiful emerald and purple hues against the dark rainy sky. A lone cormorant enjoys watching the empty beach from the breakwater and gathers its strength for the next hunt. Another rain is coming.
